Possible Side Effects and Risks
Common side effects include swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising and small lumps. These usually settle over the following days.
Less often, lumps or infection can happen. A rare but serious risk is filler blocking a blood vessel. Call us straight away if you notice severe pain, white, blue or dark patches, or any change in your vision.
Who Should Not Have It
Filler is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell us if you have an active skin infection, severe allergies, an allergy to lidocaine, or a bleeding condition, or if you take blood thinners.
Revolax Deep
Revolax Deep is placed in the mid to deep layer of the skin, down to the fat just below it, using a fine 27G needle. It is often chosen for smile lines, marionette lines and moderate volume loss in the cheeks. The aim is to soften folds so the lower face looks smoother and less tired.
Revolax Sub-Q
Revolax Sub-Q is the same gel placed deeper, under the skin in the fat layer, using a 25G needle. Because it sits deeper, it is used for shaping and support, such as the cheeks and chin. The aim is gentle lift and definition, not a large change.
