How It Works
The Hycoox handpiece holds a small syringe of the chosen product and a multi-needle head with 3, 5 or 9 very fine needles. When the head touches the skin, gentle vacuum suction draws the skin up against the needles. The device senses this and releases a set dose. It then lets go, and the head moves to the next spot.
Our doctor sets the dose, speed, suction strength and number of shots for your treatment, and these can change for different areas. Because each “shot” goes through several needles at once, a large area can be covered with fewer movements than by hand. The device itself does not change the skin. It simply places the product evenly in the upper layer of the skin.

About the Device
Hycoox is made in Korea. It is an infusion delivery system. It utilizes sterile, single-use needle heads to inject different types of products into your skin at a deeper leave. This allows the product injected to work better giving you better results.
What It Can Deliver

Your Appointment, Step by Step
Your first visit starts with a consultation, where our doctor looks at your skin, asks about your health and chooses the product. The device settings are then planned around that product and the area. On the day, your skin is cleansed and numbing cream is applied for about 20 to 30 minutes. The skin is then cleaned again with an antiseptic before the treatment starts.
The handpiece is moved across the area in a neat pattern. You will feel gentle suction and quick, light pricks. A full face usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes of treatment time. Afterwards, the skin is cleaned and soothed, and you will get your aftercare advice.
Possible Side Effects and Risks
You can expect tiny red marks, small raised bumps where the product was injected with mild swelling and some redness. These usually settle within 1 to 3 days. Small bruises can happen and may take up to a week to fade. Suction can sometimes leave faint round marks that fade within hours to a day or so.
Who Should Not Have It
Please do not book if you have an active infection, cold sore, open wound or flare of acne, eczema or rosacea in the area to be treated. Treatment is usually avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Please tell us if you have a bleeding problem, take blood-thinning medicines, have a history of keloid scars, or have an allergy to any product or numbing cream. PRP may not be suitable if you have certain blood conditions.

Treatment Plans
Your plan is built around the product, not the device. A skin booster plan is different from a PRP or scalp plan, and some people combine more than one over time. We choose the product, the area and the device settings together, and we write them on your plan so you know exactly what you are having.
Number of Sessions
Most skin booster and PRP plans start with a short course, often 2 to 3 sessions. Some scalp plans need more. The right number depends on the product, your skin and your goal. After the first course, many people return for maintenance every few months.

Recovery & Downtime
Downtime is usually short. Your skin may look pink with small bumps or tiny dots for the rest of the day. These bumps are the product sitting in the skin, and they usually flatten within 1 to 3 days. Most people go back to work the next day. If you bruise easily, plan your treatment a week or more before any event.
Aftercare Instructions
For the first 24 hours, keep your skin clean and avoid make-up, and try not to touch or rub the treated area. Avoid hard exercise, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for 24 to 48 hours. Use a gentle cleanser and a plain moisturiser, and wear sunscreen every day. Avoid retinoids, acids and scrubs for about 3 days, or as advised.

For the first few days, simple is best. Look for a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser and a moisturiser with soothing ingredients such as panthenol, ceramides or plain hyaluronic acid. A broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher protects your skin while it settles. Avoid strong actives such as retinol, glycolic acid and vitamin C serums until your skin feels calm, usually after about 3 days.
