The consultation process is required for anyone that wants to get treatment at Yeppeun Skin Clinic. Since we are a dermatology center (skin clinic) and not just a spa or medical spa, our consultation process is necessary to properly diagnosis and customize a treatment plan.
How It Works
Yeppeun Skin Clinic uses the same four-step process that is used our skin clinics in Korea:

When you enter Yeppeun Skin Clinic, you will be treated to Korean hospitality. After registration, we will provide you with a digital skin scan to that will allow us to see the root causes at several layers of the skin on your face. Then, our professionally trained consulting staff will ask you a series of screening questions which is necessary before you meet the doctor. After that, you will meet our dermatologist who will create a customized treatment plan for you. The final step is to be taken through all your treatment options where you will make a decision as to how you wish to proceed. It is important to note that for proper care, it is not advised to simply choose a treatment from a set menu. The doctor needs to properly analyze your case and develop a treatment plan customized for your skin.

Treatment Plans
You should not choose a treatment at a dermatology center in the same way you do a spa. Our doctor will create a customized treatment for you to actually get to the root of your skin issues. It is key to follow the doctor’s recommendation as opposed to choosing a treatment you heard or read about online. Different people require different treatments and a treatment for one person may not work or even have a negative effect on another person. Please note that the doctor has the right to refuse to perform treatment if the doctor determines it is not suitable for the patient.
Number Consultations Needed
Before any medical treatment, you must have a consultation with our doctor. This includes follow up sessions. It is important for the doctor to analyze the results of previous sessions incase we need to adjust treatments. All follow up consultations are free of charge for our returning patients as a courtesy.
Time Between Digital Facial Scans
You normally do not require an additional facial scan unless more than 3 months have passed between visits.
Recovery & Downtime
There is zero recovery and downtime from a digital facial scan and consultation.
Aftercare Instructions
No aftercare is needed for digital facial scans and consultations.

After the doctor analyzes your skin issues, the exact ingredients you need in your products will be recommended. Please ask the doctor for Korean products the clinic carries that match your specific concerns. In general, products with the follow ingredients are highly recommended:
- Ceramide (for hydration and skin barrier protection)
- Exosome (for dry skin anti-aging and rejuvenation)
- Tea Tree (Low PH level Cleanser)
- EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor for firming and revitalization)
- Niacinamide (for skin brightening but not after certain treatments)
- Panthenol (30%-50%)
- PDRN (for anti-aging)
