Korean Hydrating Facial LDM (Local Dynamic Micro-massage) is an ultrasound dual-frequency sound wave treatment that is non ablative meaning it won’t damage your skin. The technology under Yeppeun Skin Clinic protocols allow for alternating ultrasound frequencies to penetrate the skin with dynamic pressure changes. The multiple high frequency ultrasound saves are often set to 1 MHz, 3 MHz, 10 MHz all the way up to 10 MHz running at hundreds of times per second. The targeted layers of the dermis and subcutaneous tissue use lower frequencies while the epidermis uses higher frequencies. Because we use rapid frequency switching to create micro-massage tissue effects, cellular activity increases through water displacement and distribution in your skin without burning or ablation of your skin.

LDM treatment is often used in combination with other treatments. The doctor will assign you a customized treatment plan to active fibroblasts, regulate MMP enzymes, boost GAGs and calm inflammation. Your own fibroblasts will be stimulated through gentle micro vibrations. These fibroblasts are the cells that produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. Thus, by stimulated these cells, we can increase their production. This treatment inhibits MMPs (Matrix Metalloproteinases). These MMPs are the opposite of what we desire. They work to break down collagen. Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) are stimulated to improve. They work to skin plumpness and hydration in the deep tissue. Finally, by using the difference frequencies, we can help conditions like acne, irritation, redness, rosacea and increase the speed of recover for dermatological treatments. Treatment can take anywhere from 12-90 minutes to complete depending on the settings used. Aftercare Instructions
