How It Works

BB Shine at Yeppeun Skin Clinic is the most advanced deep clean and entry level treatment for anti-aging and face cleansing. It is a multi-step medical grade treatment that combines professional cleansing, steamer exfoliation to open your pores, acne/whitehead/black extract, advanced vacuuming extraction of impurities, mechanical infusion of multiple serums (AHA and BHA), diatomaceous earth modelling mask with customized ingredients, LED light therapy, cell creams (Stem Cell Media, PDRN, Exosome and more), LDM ultrasound treatment to gently revere the signs of aging and more. This treatment is two steps above Professional Cleansing and one step above Korean Hydrafacial.

Treatment Plans

Yeppeun Skin Clinic BB Shine is often done on its own or in combination with other skin treatments done at the clinic. It is often recommended to get your skin as clean as possible before undergoing extensive dermatological treatments and prime it to receive treatment. This treatment is suitable for most skin types, including combination, dry, dull, dehydrated and oily. In many cases, it can be done on its own or in combination with other treatments.

Number of Treatments Needed

It is recommended to have BB Shine once per month. If done regularly, your skin not only stays clean, glass like and glowing but you start to look younger through the anti-aging benefits of the treatment.

Time Between Sessions

The minimum time between sessions is 4 weeks as your skin needs internal healing time before the next session.

Recovery & Downtime

There is no downtime to this treatment but patients with extremely sensitive skin may experience slight redness which normally goes away by the next day. BB Shine provides a beautiful glow and keeps your skin PH levels in balance.

Aftercare Instructions

You can wear make-up from the following day. It is important to follow a proper skin care routine consisting of at least a cleanser, toner, serum or ampoule, cream and sunscreen.

After the doctor analyzes your skin issues, the exact ingredients you need in your products will be recommended. Please ask the doctor for Korean products the clinic carries that match your specific concerns. In general, products with the follow ingredients are highly recommended:

- Ceramide (for hydration and skin barrier protection)
- Exosome (for dry skin anti-aging and rejuvenation)
- Tea Tree (Low PH level Cleanser)
- EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor for firming and revitalization)
- Niacinamide (for skin brightening but not after certain treatments)
- Panthenol (30%-50%)
- PDRN (for anti-aging)
- Stem Cell Media (for dry skin and anti-aging)
- Sunscreen with an SPF 50+ PA++++ rating or higher
